Welcome Homeschooling Families!

County Christian School is a school who seeks to develop students whose actions authentically reveal the character of Christ by partnering with families—to spiritually, academically, physically, and socially educate their children in a program of intentional excellence. Luke 2:52

We fully understand and support the scriptural principle that parents are responsible for the instruction and training of their children. We also know that there are academic classes that may contain content that can be challenging or that you may want your child to have the experience of a safe classroom environment. Our classes are all taught by highly skilled and qualified teachers who first and foremost love the Lord, love working with and teaching young people, and who have a passion for the subject matter that they are given the opportunity to share.

We also offer a variety of team sports opportunities to our homeschooling families! We offer the Athletic advantage!! – Students are welcome to stay after classes scheduled from 2:35 – 3:20 pm to participate in our CCS Athletic Program.

CCS also has an established developmental services program. Here at CCS, we utilize the NILD program (National Institute for Learning Development). For further information on how this might benefit your child, please look at our NILD webpage or contact our NILD program coordinator at 703-729-5968.

With all of this in mind, we offer two academic programs for homeschooling families:

“ROCK” Homeschool Partnership Program – Offers a variety of classes for students in grades 8 through high school. Classes meet one time per week for forty-five minutes or for one hour-thirty minutes, depending on the class. Your student is given the opportunity to collaborate with and learn alongside of homeschooling peers and possibly CCS students.

A-la-carte Homeschool Partnership Program – Offers a variety of classes that meet two to five times per week, depending on the class. Your student is given the opportunity to take a class or multiple classes (up to three) with our wonderful full-time CCS students and reap more benefits of what CCS has to offer.
